Good Evening!
A slightly different week this week in class 1, we had the truly amazing sports week.
Monday saw the start of our Euro 2024 football competition which concluded today with the final; Italy vs Holland. Seeing a victory for Holland, well done to the year 1 children who were part of the final. However, I must say all the children who participated in the group stages and knock games did a fantastic job!
Tuesday involved a trip to the Bowls club, which the children thoroughly enjoyed:
Wednesday was our non-stop sports day, the children played a variety of different sports and activities, ranging form golf through to bench ball and 3 in a bucket and sit down netball amongst other events.
Thursday was the highlight of the week. in which sports day took place, I am immensely proud of all of you. It has to have been the best sports day that I have been involved in. The children had so much fun and never stopped smiling!
