Good Afternoon!
I hope I find you all well!
What a beautiful start to the weekend. Fingers crossed the lovely weather will stay with us for the whole weekend.

This week in maths the children have continued with their fractions unit exploring halves and quarters. We identified a quarter and half of a shape followed by a quarter and half of a quantity.

In English we have have planned our stories and started to write the opening. Next week, we will finish our stories.

RWI Home learning:
Practice your story green words and red words from your home reading book on a piece of paper at home. These can be found on the How to help your child read this book page.

Challenge: Can you use the words in sentences?
Maths
To continue the great work that the children have completed this week, I have found a great little game that the children can use to consolidate their understanding of fractions.
